How to find out if you already invited a player!

16th Aug 2013 13:02 Some people are still having trouble with this, and not everyone may see the topic I've posted on, so I thought it might be handy to post this for whoever still needs it c: I'm also deleting my previous blog to keep this up so everyone has a fair chance to get the items they want.
Do you use Firefox? Go into Options, Content-colors, and uncheck the "Allow pages To choose their own colors" box. This will mess with the layout a bit, but now if you've clicked on someone's page before, their name will be in purple.
On Chrome, the easiest way to do this trick is to download an extension. Personally, I like to use Change Colors, and it's as easy as it sounds! Once you've downloaded this extension for Chrome...
Tools-Extensions-Change Colors-options to customize the colors you would like to use.. Press Ctrl + Shift + P on the Users Online page, and on that specific page from now on, the names of people you've visited will always be highlighted in the colors you've chosen. I use the default blue and purple, so I can remember it easier ^^
The link for this extension is:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/change-colors/jbmkekhehjedonbhoikhhkmlapalklgn?hl=en
And for those of you who still use Internet Explorer...
Tools-Internet Options-Appearance-Accessibility-Ignore colors specified on webpages-OK-OK. And voila, fixed!
Pick out all the blue names and party hard ^^
If there are any other browsers you need help with, let me know <3
Now, I'm sure some of you are having other kinds of trouble with this trick, such as a person going offline before you can party, and lamenting that their name is now purple and you don't know how to turn it blue again. The only way I currently know how to turn their names blue again is to go into your browser's history and manually delete the entry(s) containing the page of the person whose name you'd like to turn blue again.
In Firefox, go to Firefox-History-Show All History. A list will appear showing all of the pages you've visited recently. On the left hand side, click Last 7 Days. Now, go to the page of the person whose name you'd like to turn blue. In the URL bar at the top of the browser, you'll see the person's profile link, such as http://www.marapets.com/profile.php?id=733033 (this is my profile page). Copy and paste the number at the end of the link, in this case it is 733033. Go to your History page, and on the top right-hand corner is a search box. Paste the number you just copied, and delete any entries that show up in the modified list. This will clear the profile from your history and turn the link blue again. Now you'll never have to worry about missing a user if they happen to sign off and you can't party with them!
For Chrome, go to History (or press CTRL+H if you have a hard time finding your options), and you'll have a bar near the top that says Search History. Do the exact same thing as my last instructions with pasting a user's number, and click Search History. All entries containing the person whose name you want to turn blue will appear. For individual entries, on the right of the entry, you'll see a little triangle. Click it, and choose Remove From History. If you have multiple entries you want to get rid of, you will be better-off using the checkboxes at the left of the entry. Click on what you want to lose, and choose Remove Selected Items above your entries to delete them all at once.
Unfortunately, this doesn't work for me in Internet Explorer, and my links still turn up purple. I don't know if this is the same for all versions of Internet Explorer, but since I don't really use it and don't know anyone else who does, hopefully this won't be too much of a problem. Firefox and Chrome are free, so if you'd like to do this trick, don't be shy to try them out!
And remember, an event similar to this is sure to happen someday in the future. After the birthday event is finished, take care to clear your history, so you won't mess yourself up next time.
I hope this was of some assistance to you, I'm sorry I don't know how to make it any faster. Happy partying!
