1st Jan 2020 01:03 A new decade is upon us
We have new things to do
We have new books, new pages
To write our life's adventures
With hope to carry through
So now let us welcome the New Year
With things that haven't been
And add fullness to our hearts
In the parts that have worn thin

I live in Central California. I have one daughter and will never have grandchildren. I was raised near the ocean where the average temperature is 68°F so this valley heat is very uncomfortable for me. I've been blessed with 3 jobs, in my life, that I loved: the U.S. Navy, telephone operator and cast member at Disneyland. I have strong beliefs in a higher power and hope that shines through in things I say and do. I have been a Professor at different colleges and universities but teaching was never what I really ever wanted to do. It was a way to put my education to use.
