If I declined your offer: A Basic Guide

16th Jan 2018 11:47 A.) It could be that you offered a photo I already have on one of my swappables.
- In the past I probably would have accepted it anyway, but at this point in my maralife, I'm getting real tired of opening up trades and being offered things I'm just going to have to turn around and try to re-trade. It's really disheartening that I always double check to blogs and collections to make sure the other person still needs what I'm offering on their trades, but then have very few people return the favor.
- You offered me a plate even though my trade is labeled "missing photo". I have a complete collection of plates. Please don't do this, even if you're offering on one of my plates.
B.) You offered a fraction of what something is worth on an item and attached a note to your offer along the lines of "It's for my collection
"
- So? Most of the people buying things for their collections are going to pay what it's worth because it's something they actually want??? I literally don't understand the logic here.
C.) If you're trying to buy my reduced cost/quicksale AU and I decline your offer even though you sent the right prices, it is literally because you're turning around to resell the AU at a much higher cost. I understand that you're vending and trying to make a profit, but it rubs me the wrong way and I'm trying to cut deals for people who are actually buying the CE to use for themselves. And I have no problem waiting for other people to offer. I don't need mp THAT fast. Aka- Don't take advantage of my kindness just to prevent someone else from genuinely catching a little price break.
If I declined your offer and it doesn't fall into anything listed above, then it was probably an accident. Feel free to mail me to double-check.
Otherwise. Don't mail me about why I declined your offer because I'll just refer you back to here. Because I'm tired of explaining myself so many times. And I'm also tired of the lack of common courtesy.
Tbh I'm usually very willing to cut generous deals, but there are a few things that instantly rub me the wrong way and will probably land you on my blocked list. And those things are listed above.
