werewolf legand


This is a Werewolf Legend I remember from growing up. The legend I am about to retell is no way true, and is a silly tale that has been passed down in my family.

Upon a late night two herdsman fell asleep under the silvery moon. Both starving and suffering from empty pockets. One of the herdsman had a beloved and cursed devil strap. Very few where ever offered such a gift from the devil but when one does he trades his soul and mind for life as a werewolf. The herdsman having enough of being hungry wrapped the devil strap around him and morphed into a mighty silver wolf. The other herdsman awoke just in time to see a silver form take down a horse near by and eat it whole. The silver wolf then slowly crawled up next to the man and went to sleep. As the sun raised in the morning the two men awoke. The wolf herdsman began to complain of stomach troubles. The other herdsman looked at his companion and told him that anyone that forgot to share such a large meal would be having stomach pains too.

When I was told this story, I was almost always being selfish or stingy.

It is common knowledge that if you say a werewolf's name that is wearing a devil strap three times, that the wolf will transform into his human form.

On a sunny day a knight was riding home. Upon arriving at a cross walk a wolf suddenly attacked him and his horse. His horse took off in a gallop with the wolf in high pursuit. Upon arriving at a dead end, the wolf caught up to the knight and his horse. The knight having heard of rumors that his neighbor was a werewolf began shouting, "Kain Veugh is that you, I said Kain Veugh, Kain Veugh." As he spoke his name the third time Kain morphed into his human form yelling, "please dont report me"
