50 quest profit challenge
1 year, 6 months & 7 days ago
20th Jun 2023 17:49 I decided to do a 50 quest profit challenge to see what quests are most profitable and available for any user to complete fairly easily. Please note that results will vary. Prize wins or value of the prizes are not guaranteed.
Rules I followed for this challenge
-Complete all quests, unless total cost of all items asked for costs more than 50k.
-Purchase all items requested from either user or Marapet shops using MP only.
-If the item sells in a BP/RP shop, purchase the item from a user shop for MP.
With these rules, the profit calculations will be based off of if you had to purchase all of the items in order to complete the quest. For all of these quests, if you already have a stockpile of items in your attic for questing purposes, the profits will be even higher.
Borak
MP balance: -119997
RP earned from restocks: 654
Prizes won: 11
Approximate profit if sold prizes at current prices and RP at 1:17 ratio: 285068 or 2.375x what was spent. Notes: I averaged a prize approximately one every five quests.
Candy Tree
MP balance: -268511
RP earned from restocks: 60
Prizes won: 5
Approximate profit if sold prizes at current prices and RP at 1:17 ratio: 2528991 or 9.419x what was spent.
Notes: I averaged a prize approximately one every ten quests. One of the prizes I won was valued around 1.5mil. Without that prize, the profit was still around 1mil after completing 50 quests.
Carpenter
MP balance: -218532
RP earned from restocks: 844
Prizes won: 8 and a toy fix
Approximate profit if sold prizes at current prices and RP at 1:17 ratio: 1621499 or 7.42x what was spent.
Notes: If I kept the toy blocks won from questing, average cost of each block would have come to 27317 each. Obviously if this quest is part of the weekly benefits where double prizes are won, the profit would be even higher and it would be more worthwhile completing these quests.
Cosmonaut
MP balance: -212295
RP earned: 1172
Prizes won: 10
Approximate profit if sold prizes at current prices and RP at 1:17 ratio: 756664 or 3.564x what was spent.
Notes: I had to let one quest time out due to the item not being in a Marapets shop to restock.
Desert Spy
MP balance: -250313
Spy Points Earned: 27879
RP earned: 1282
Approximate profit based on selling Spy points at 1:50 ratio and RP at 1:17 ratio: 1165431 or 4.656x what was spent.
Notes: I???m not sure how easily spy shop items are to sell, so it is possible you will have to wait awhile before seeing your profit from this quest. Well worth it though if you are planning on adding any of the shop items to your own collections.
Farming
MP balance: -209035
RP earned: 708
Prizes won: 3, including a Farming Stamp which is UB
Approximate profit if sold prizes at current prices and RP at 1:17 ratio: 300175 plus the UB stamp or 1.436x what was spent.
Notes: This quest can be worth if you win higher valued balls of yarn. Obviously if this quest is part of the weekly benefits where double prizes are won, the profit would be even higher and it would be more worthwhile completing these quests.
Garage
MP balance: -88120
RP earned: 526
Notes: I lost 79178MP after 50 quests and figuring in RP earned during restocking. Unless you can restock all items from the Marapets shop or you have a stockpile of car parts in your attic, this quest is not worth doing unless completing for goals or the weekly quest challenge.
Haunted House
MP balance: -390869
RP earned: 658
Prizes won: 50
Approximate profit if sold prizes at current prices and RP at 1:17 ratio: 216237 or 0.553x what was spent. Otherwise questing for crystals the average price of a crystal would be 7817mp.
Notes: Having the double crystals giftbox makes this quest much more profitable. With the double crystals giftbox my profit was 812,157 or 2.078x what was spent. Otherwise questing for crystals the average price of a crystal would be 3909mp.
Kamilah Traveler
MP balance: -419988
RP earned: 850
Prizes won: 8
Approximate profit if sold prizes at current prices and RP at 1:17 ratio: 1193987 or 2.843x what was spent.
Notes: If I kept the codes won from questing, average cost of each code would have come to 52499 each. Obviously if this quest is part of the weekly benefits where double prizes are won, the profit would be even higher and it would be more worthwhile completing these quests.
Leprechaun
MP balance: -466200
RP Earned: 80296
Approximate profit if sold RP at 1:17 ratio: 898832 or 1.928x what was spent.
Notes: If I kept all the RP won from questing, average cost of the RP would come to 5.8 each, which is approximately 1/3 the current cost.
Queen Bee
MP balance: -354892
RP earned: 474
Prizes won: 2
Approximate profit if sold prizes at current prices and RP at 1:17 ratio: 450866 or 1.27x what was spent.
Notes: From past experience, some of the prizes won from Queen Bee can be hard to sell. I would mostly recommend this quest in order to win the items for adding to your own collections.
Sewer Monster
MP balance: -365563
RP earned: 766
Prizes won: 1
Approximate profit if sold prizes at current prices and RP at 1:17 ratio: 142101 or 0.389x what was spent.
Notes: I got lucky that the prize I won was worth around 500k. Otherwise, this quest would not have been profitable since half the prizes are only worth a few thousand MP.
Simerian Excavator
MP balance: -315101
RP earned: 892
Prizes won: 24
Approximate profit if sold prizes at current prices and RP at 1:17 ratio: 2448023 or 7.769x what was spent.
Notes: Of all the quests, I think I would recommend this quest the most for newer users and most profitability. I averaged a prize almost one every two quests. If I kept all the slates won, average cost of each slate would have come to 13129 each. Obviously if this quest is part of the weekly benefits where double prizes are won, the profit would be even higher and it would be more worthwhile completing these quests.
Snowman
MP balance: +28023
RP earned: 512
Prizes won: 3
Approximate profit if sold prizes at current prices and RP at 1:17 ratio: 831759
Notes: Due to only needing one item to complete each quest, this was the only quest in this challenge that I ended up with more MP on hand than I had when I started. This is not my favorite quest to complete because it seems like far more clicks because of having to send the item to another user. I also frequently forget to send the item before attempting to complete the quest, which adds even more time/clicks. However this is another easy quest for newer users to complete with fairly good profits.
