**Military Dedication**

My Dad is in the military and is currently on leave in Qatar for 4 months. i of course am very proud of him. This country has had several mishaps over the years involving and risking our troops's lives. 9/11 IS the most common example. So Im going to take some time to say a deep thanks to All Military personel and Military families. They deserve it especially with the hard times they're going though. Please read on >>>>>>>

Come Home Dad
A POEM BY CHELSEABEANGIRL (Chelsea)

I walked on by the quiet road.
All the houses silent.
My eyes went blurry,
And my heart was violent.
You hadn't called us,
we were starting to worry.
I missed you and needed you.
But you werent there to say,
"Sweetie, its going to be okay"
I shuttered as I heard the voice
in my head.
For it was me and not you shouting instead.
They were words of anger.
My stomach turned as I realized I was being Selfish.
Selfish.
Selfish was I, too worried about me and my life.
And my memory remembered your heartbroken eyes.
And that glistening stare you gave me,
Was to my heart, A knife.
I left to my relatives, Angry and hurt,
While you had to leave, heartbroken, to the desert.
As soon as I left, I knew what wrong I did.
But it was to late.
God had finally sealed my family's Fate.
I came back home, with you still gone,
Crying every night.
My hunger vanished.
My happiness grew dim.
All wasnt well because I really missed him.
You still hadn't called,
and weeks flew by.

I grew Hopeless.

I crawled into bed, not tired nor awake.
I prayed to God and hoped he'd listen.
for My Sake.
"God please listen,
listen to my cry,
For I couldnt shed thy tear.
Not one more.
Bring him back,
this cant be the end.
Take me instead God,
My heart I will Lend.
Hearing no response,
I turned and wept.
And when my weeping was done,
I finnally slept.

My dreams were so vivid,
I could hear your voice.
But when my eyes opened, I had to rejoice.
It was You!!!!!
You came home!!!
