RIP February 2, 2015 to November 16, 2020
theDog was named after my pet cat, a little stray we rescued and the SPCA told us she was likely the runt of the litter and had siamese in her
she was almost completely black except for a few white strands of hair on her chest
she was my cat... meaning of course, I was her human
she had a huge territory wherever we lived - everyone knew her and called her by name, she wouldn't want to be picked up, but in true siamese fashion, she would walk to the corner store with you like your pet dog would... but no leash or collar for her... she was a true free spirit
however, we live in cougar, coyote, bear country now and I think she might have finally met her match
