One bright sunnny afternoon Eliza went to her room and opened the window "Oh how beautiful today is" She said with her rosy red cheeks shining in the Light and her brown hair flowing in the wind.She went downstairs when she saw her mother crying she stepped forward.."Mother? Whats wrong?" She asked "War..El...War" She said as she starting to cry some more..Eliza couldn't belive of what her mother told her..Later that day she was brushing her dollies hair when she heard the door crack open "DADDY DADDY!" she yelled running stright for him "Hey El..How's my little five year old girl?" he said twiddling with her hair "War daddy war!" She yelled crying into his suit..Her father looked at her mother.."Im sorry Lila.." He said to his wife deeply..."Whats going on frank?" She said looking at him ready to cry "War...I have been sent..." El heard those words and thought it wasnt true..."NO DADDY! NO YOU CANT LEAVE! TOMORROW I START SCHOOL! AND ALL THE DADDIES WILL BE THERE!" she said bursting into tears "Im so sorry el..but" she cut him off "BUT NOTHING! YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT ME OR MOMMY! IF YOU WERE MY DADDY YOU WOULD BE HERE FOR ME TOMORROW!" she said yelling at her dad...He put down his hat to his chest.."Im sorry" He said back..She ran up to her small room and shut the door and locked it.Her mother went onto her kee's and started crying "WHY! DEAR LORD WHY!?" She said she went off to her room aswell ad he was left alone...THe next day Eliza woke up extra early to see if he was really leaving she saw him walking out the door "NO DADDY! YOU CANT LEAVE!!! " She said holding onto his army sweater and not letting go "El please!" He said sternly "DADDY NO PLEASE!! NOOO DADDY!" He walked out the door with her still holding on "DADDY PLEASE!!! STAY WITH ME AND MOMMY@" he slapped her to let go..She let go "Im..So..sorry El..But this is..goodbye" he said holding back tears..She started tocry like she had been kidnapped...She laied on floor crying and crying then it started to rain which made her day more misserable....Later that day she went to her classroom...the teacher called out names "Joe...Markas..Eliza" She called out her name and she asked Eliza "Well where is your daddy sweetheart?" She said Eliza holding back the tears..."Must have one of those lazy down beat fathers eh?" One father siad to another.."ELIZA HAS NO DAD!" a young boy yelled out..Eliza started to burst into tears and she ran out of the classroom all the way home! "MOMMY!!" she screeched "Eliza what are you doing here?" she said shocked "IT WAS HORRIBLE MOMMY! HORRIBLE!" as she was talking she heard a gun shot and she screamed "Eliza hush" she said "DADDY IS NO HERE! WE ALL GONERS!" she said yelling at her mother...Later in the month they got a mail..It read..."Dear.Miss macgragor we are sorry to inform you but your husband frank has been killed durring the war..It was a Ariel attack..." she dropped the telegram and burst into tears..."ITS ABOUT DADDY ISN'T IT!" Eliza screamed she picekd it up..and both of htem started to cry..."MOMMY WHY!" she yelled..Her mother was done with misery.."No Eliza.." she said walking to her room..Later that day Eliza screamed when she entered her mothers room..She had committed suicide "MOMMY!!! WHY1" Eliza couildn't take it anymore...She staied in the house by herself...until she was nine Eliza died of starvation and was never heard from again...The only thing left in her room was a note..Saying "I loved you daddy but you broke my heart and left me and mommy to die! Now look what has happend" She wrote it all in red crayon with a little broken heart at the end...
