Joyous Reaffirmations

17th Nov 2007 15:46 Sitting in my cloud, I smiled down at you. Sighing in pure emptiness, I saw that my sparrow friend had once again come to me. She visited me and we conversed. Sure enough, I heard, that we started veering in the direction of you. Crying in lament, I asked her to fly swiftly to you and explain. She bid me adieu and said she would do it tomorrow. I smiled and clapped my hands, stroking her feathers in kindness. She smiled and fluttered to the ground dissapearing into a place called 'Ferocious Forest'. I saw you enter that dasterdly place and I saw you walk boldly there in. My eyes also saw evil people lurking behind trees out of your sight. I heard them making plans, I saw them begging you for your things. Gasping, I wanted to zoom down and snatch them all away from you. I then found myself getting up to do this deed. Flying over my makeshift cloud I pumped up my courage to take the plunge down to rescue you. My head and body crashed into an invisible barrier. Laying my hands on the shield I wept. I smashed an aggitating fist on the invisible glass. Why? Oh why could I not so easily help you? The next day I woke up, something different was going on:
I excitedly looked down at a message being flown up by my sparrow friend. She placed the message on my cloud, which I opened up quickly. Reading it, I wept. I now realized now what went on. How could I tell you the truth? Looking down at you again for the first time with a true understanding, I saw you now were at a cove named 'Forgivness Cove'. Listening intently, I pressed my face against the barrier, my weight hard against it. You muttered those words I so ever longed to hear. Feeling the force break down, I stumbled forward into the air. I felt my wings dissipate. Falling downwards, I cried out the words in response to your message. "A promise I will always keep! I did not utter a word!" I saw your eyes look onto mine, a new fresh look my soul had been starved of for so long it seemed. You caught me in your arms. From your hands I again felt heated by your warmth. You set me on my feet. With tears streaming down my face, we embraced, and I felt your tears fall onto my back. "Won't you please forgive me?" Those words I knew I could answer without a doubt. Grasping your shoulders, I looked deep into your eyes. "I forgive you! But you must forgive me," You did so. Embracing again, I knew now that this reunion was a joyful one. Joyous Reaffirmations!
"I once was lost, but now I am found. How fathomless our friendship is forever and ever!"
