14th Oct 2015 18:32 Another story for my friend Ed. I know I don't have the best grammar, but I feel very happy about this story.
Lost SoulEd sat quietly in his room, watching the clouds pas by above, and cars, as they softly zoomed by in the distance. He hadn???t seen his parents in a few months and had just gotten off the phone, having been told that his parents would be returning home that same day. Impatiently, he had thrown some clothes on and, fairly quickly, slammed his rear into his chair he keeps by the window. Ed had been watching the clouds for a few hours till he realized that he had forgotten something. Slowly, Ed rose from his seat and made his way down to the basement.
The scent of soil, as Ed opened the basement door, and the haunting sound of someone panically digging in the dirt flooded threw his mind. Forcefully he had to shove that memory out of his mind. Ed calmly walked down the stairs to the basement floor, and then walked to the door separating the half finished basement with the half still made of dirt and opened the door.
Ed smiled at the shivering and fearful being of his sister, chained to the walls of the basement, and gaged by cloth. He closed the door behind himself and slowly made his way to her being. Softly he brushed his fingers across her cheek, feeling her flinch at his touch. Ed walked to the bucket of murky water near her and pulled out a soaked sponge. He kneeled in front of her and began to dab her face with the sponge. As she began to cry, Ed giggled and leaned into her ear, softly he whispered, ???Don???t worry, mother and father will be here soon, they will free you from your guilt.???
Sophi and her husband Eric set their eyes on the house they lost both there children in. They both fought back tears as all the memories they had in that house flooded back to them, most importantly the day their daughter ran away and the day they found out who killed and raped there son. Sophi looked up to her husband as the fire department drove up and began to set up, ready to help keep the fire at the house and under control. Eric softly nodded at the men armed with flamethrowers and he and his wife took a few steps back as they began to light the house.
Sophi softly gasped and grabbed her husband???s arm, he knew why she jumped, he felt it as well. Before they both left the house, they could always feel their son???s presence. They always wondered, however, why they never could feel their daughter???s presence. They looked from each other to the house, now engulfed in flames. Just for a moment, at the peak of the burning, they both could softly hear a scream coming from the burning house.
The fire, subsiding after an hour of burning, was quickly put out. As fire department began to search threw the debris, Sophi and Eric walked up to the now destroyed house to finally say goodbye to their children. Ed smiled as a firefighter yelled at his parents. With wide eyes, his parents rushed down into the debris to the still standing wall from the basement. Ed walked up to them as they smashed down the door, and laughed when his mother screamed in horror.
Ed stood next to his sister???s body, watching his parent???s reaction as they read the scars on her body. His mother fell to her knees as tears flooded her sight, the firemen stepped back to give his parents space. Ed smirked as he listened to his father???s voice one last time??? ???My name is Ed, my sister rapped and killed me. My sister died by my hands, and will never return again. Don???t harm me again, or you will get a visit in the night???
