As a kid...

Walt was a curious little boy.
He was always standing next to the fence; his nose just barely peeking over.
While the other children his age preferred to climb on the jungle gym, or slide down the slide, he would never be content within the limits of the playground.
Walt always seemed to be alone, but this doesn???t mean he was lonely.
No, he was very much content utilizing his own imagination as fuel.
The other kids didn???t understand him. The way he always seemed to gaze off into space occasionally.
Or, perhaps it was off putting how quiet he was- the children couldn???t fathom why he wasn???t as loud and rambunctious as the rest of them.
The only company he openly welcomed, was from his stuffed rabbit.
Walt???s rabbit was slightly tattered, and had a tear in his ear, but he didn???t mind.
He loved him all the same.
His rabbit???s name was Oswald.

As he grew up...

Walt was an avid dreamer.
He could think up the most extraordinary things.
If you could spare a moment to ask him what was on his mind, he???d be able to tell you one of the most remarkable stories you???d ever heard.
You would have asked him how on earth he came up with an idea so astounding.
He would give you a small smile that you thought of as slightly mischievous.
At home, his rabbit sat waiting on his dresser.

To this day, his stories are remembered, and somewhere, Oswald the rabbit sits, happily remembering him.

???Our greatest natural resource is the minds of our children.???
