Hi! First of all, thanks so much for doing this giveaway!
To start, a little about myself. My name is Nicole, I turned 14 last month, and I live in California. I love to write, read, shop, spend time with my friends and family, do improv, and play marapets. I am kind of addicted to this site. xD At least you know this would mean I am not going to drop off the grid and leave the beautiful Celanita uncared for. On marapets I trade pets, buy (and sometimes make) graphics, and hang out in my club.
I would love to have your amazing pet Celanita. Honestly, I don't know if I would trade her or not. I love fairy chibs and fairies in general so I might keep her. The only reason I am hesitating is because one of my maragoals is to get an angel chibs in memory of my aunt Helen who passed away of melanoma last year. If I was going to trade her I would only trade her for an angel chibs, then do a name swap with my pet Helaene. (My brother is holding her for me.) If I was lucky enough to win her, I might just get another chibs and put it through the temple, as fairy chibs really are so beautiful.
As I said, I am quite obsessed with mara, and I really love my pets. I know this sounds cheesy, but I take great pride in them as more then just pixels. Celanita would be one of my crowning jewels, sitting on the top row of my pets for all of mara to admire. Smile

Here are some graphics I made for Celanita. Smile

Here is a story I wrote about Celanita:

Celanita looked out her window at the beautiful landscape below. Rolling green mountains, sparkling blue lakes; robins, bluejays, and cardinals chirping on the evergreens below. It was gorgeous enough to take anyone's breath away.
But to Celanita, it felt like a prison. She was princess of the fairy kingdom, but her parents still treated her like a little girl. Since she hadn't gotten her wings yet, she supposed she still was one. But at 1,712 days old, she wondered if she was ever going to get them. Most of her other friends had at least baby wings, or wings that were sprouting up. She had nothing. Celanita dreamed of being able to fly, and one day soar above the kingdom, being the best ruler Fairynisha had ever had. But she couldn't do any of it, not without her wings. Until the day came when she was able to fly, she would always be treated like a little girl, never being able to venture outside Fairynisha.
"Celanita!" Her mother called, "Come downstairs, it's time for lunch!" Celanita sighed, and muttered her way down the spiral staircase. She barely even looked at the gorgeous silk tapestries, the golden suits of armor, or the diamond studded handrails. She had seen it all before, every day of her life. It didn't capture her attention like it did when she was a kitten. Such a naive little kitten.
She wished she could go back to those days, when she didn't have to worry about the pressures of being princess, or that her wings hadn't grown in yet. Her father was always on her about "eating right so her wings would grow" and he kept coming up with new diets or methods that he thought would do the trick. Nothing worked. Celanita could see by the way he acted around her thats he was ashamed that the princess of Fairynisha couldn't fly. Her mother assured her she was just a "late bloomer", and that "they would be sprouting up any day now!" But Celanita had been seeing the worry in her eyes the past couple months. What would happen if her wings never grew? She wouldn't be able to be queen then! All the rulers of Fairynisha had had wings, so they could fly over the realm and keep an eye on the townspeople, or travel to other kingdoms to do business.
"Hello there Celanita!" An unknown voice called, snapping her out of her thoughts. Celanita looked questioningly at the azul sitting before her. He was sitting at the table with her parents, Melodies and lex_luther1. "My name is Epi, your parents called me here today to help you with your wings!" She scowled at her parents, they knew she hated all the physical therapists and diet experts they brought to 'help.' The last one did nothing but insult her, and give her a potion that gave her a rash. Celanita sighed, knowing she had to act the part of a grateful princess.
"Nice to meet you Epi, what are you planning to do to help me? There have been many other people that have tried and failed to bring me my wings, what makes you any different?"
"Celanita! Show some respect!" Scorned lex_luther1.
"No it's alright!," Reassured Epi, "She has every right to want to know. I can understand the feeling of not having your wings when you want them so badly." Celanita scoffed and crossed her paws.
"How can you possibly know what I feel going through life every day without wings?" She said bitterly. She was tired of the sympathy and the reassurance, she didn't want their pity.
"Because I went through it myself. I got my wings about a month ago." Epi explained, keeping his voice calm. Celanita's jaw dropped. Epi didn't seem that much younger then her, and everyone her age or close to it had at least some wings! "So I know how badly you want them, and how you feel like your parents are disappointed in you..." lex_luther1 opened his mouth to protest, but Epi held up his hand to silence him. The king narrowed his eyes, not used to being told what to do. He crossed his paws and scowled, but remained silent. "I also know how to bring them to you."
"You know a surefire cure? Did it work on you? Is that why you have such amazing wings? How long will it take for my wings to do that? Will I finally be able to fly?" Celanita was bubbling over with excitement that one of the 'cures' might actually work. This could make all her dreams come true!!!
Epi laughed. "Calm down princess. I know you're excited about getting your wings, but there is some risk to this 'cure.' It hasn't been tested on anyone yet, I used a different kind of cream to fit my... gender. I twisted some things around to make it fit a female, but I am not 100% sure that it will even work.... it could end up hurting you. Even though I have great wings now, I almost lost them and my life to a terrible sickness the cream gave me. Before I give you the cream, I want you to be completely sure you want to take the risk." Well that shut Celanita right up. She wanted wings sooooo badly, but if this cream could kill her then she would never be able to be ruler. Fairynisha would never have an heir, her parents were defintely too old to have another child. But what kind of ruler would she be if she didn't have wings? And it wasn't like she knew for a fact she was going to get sick... She wanted to fly so badly...
"I'll do it." Celanita said, her jaw set in determination. Her parents exchanged a worried look, and her mother sighed.
"Are you sure you want to do this sweetie?" Melodies asked, "I'm not going to get in the way if its something you really want, but I just want to make sure you are fully aware of the consequences."
"I'm sure mom." The flightless princess said. "I want you to be proud of me." Tears sparkled in Melodies eyes, and her mother looked at her with such depth and feeling Celanita had never seen before.
"Whatever happens, I want you to know I have always been proud of you." The regal, and now so transparent queen whispered to her one and only child. She kissed the princess on the head, and Epi stood up from the table, the cream in his hand. Celanita gave her mother a huge hug, and walked over to the azul that could change her life.
Celanita tried to compose herself and adressed Epi, "So um.... how long will it take for my wings to grow? How long will it take.... for me to know if something went wrong?"
"Your wings will grow in 2 nights, you will know if there are... dangerous side effects by the third night. Take this cream and apply it to where you want your wings to grow tonight. Tomorrow you should wake up with a beautiful set of wings." He handed her the bottle of cream, wished her luck, and walked out of the castle.
Later that night when she was about to put on the cream there was a knock at her tower door. "Come in!" she called, screwing the cap back on the cream. The door opened to reveal lex_luther1. "Oh... hey Dad.... What's up?" Her father walked closer to her and she could see the immense sorrow on his face.
"When Epi was talking about the pressure his parents put on him for not having wings.... it was a wake-up call for me. I don't want you to feel like you have to do this Celanita. Whether you can fly or not, you are an amazing daughter, a regal princess, and you will be an amazing queen with or without wings. If something happened to you because of this I would never forgive myself. I don't want to take the chance... I don't want to lose you Celanita.... I love you." That's when Celanita broke down. Her father had never been one to open up, she had never even heard him say 'I love you' before. They fell into each others arms, both shedding tears. They stood there for a while, each enjoying the embrace of the other when finally, Celanita pulled away.
"Whatever happens Daddy, I don't want you to feel like you are responsible. This is my decision and I know the stakes." lex_luther1 stared at the magnificent daughter he had raised, nodded, and wiped the tears from his eyes. As he went to leave his princess called him back. "Daddy?.... I love you. You will always be a great dad."
Her father smiled at her and whispered, "Good night my baby."
Celanita was a fairy chibs without wings, the princess without a crown, the little girl with a big decision. Celanita was lost. If she didn't take use the cream she might never get her wings, but if she did it could cost her a lot more then just wings. And what would her parents do if they lost her? No, she couldn't do that to them. And even if she didn't take it, there was still a chance her wings could sprout up later! Celanita smiled at reaching her decision and crawled into her bed. She was asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

**************

Later that night when almost everyone in the castle was asleep, a figure crawled into Celanita's bedroom. The mysterious figure noticed that the cream had not been used, and scowled. The intruder unscrewed the cap of the cream bottle and smeared some on the sleeping chibs' back. The princess stirred, but did not wake. The evil presence tried to screw the cap back on, but couldn't see clearly in the dark and dropped it noisily on the hardwood floor. Celanita was jolted awake by the noise, and the prowler quickly placed the cream on bedside table and left. Celanita sat up in her bed and looked around, but saw nothing. She yawned and fell back asleep. The trespasser smiled outside her room, their work was done.

***************

Very early the next morning Celanita awoke, her sleep being interrupted by something tickling and scratching her back. She rubbed her eyes and clawed at the itch. Her claws caught on a delicate silk substance. Celanita furrowed her brow and padded over to her mirror. She could not believe her eyes when she saw a full grown set of wings protruding from her back! "OMYGOSHOMYGOSHOMYGOSHOMYGOSHOMYGOSHOMYGOSH!" She screamed, jumping up and down. She finally had her wings!! She tried to flap them and lift off the ground, but they were not yet strong enough. She stroked her wings, the thing she had wanted almost her entire life. Now they were here!!! "I have to tell mom and dad!" Celanita thought, and ran as fast as she could to her parents chambers. "MOM, DAD, LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME, I HAVE MY WINGS! AREN'T THEY GORGEOUS?!"
The king and queen sat straight up in their bed to look at their daughter. "Wow... look at you Celanita, you are such a gorgeous young woman!" Her mother gushed. Her father didn't share his wifes' enthusiasm.
"So... did you use the cream?" He asked quietly, afraid of the answer. For the first time since she had looked in the mirror the smiled was wiped off her face.
"Um... no... I decided I wasn't going to... how did I get them that fast then? Do you think I had a growth-spurt or something?" Her parents exchanged looks, knowing that a 'growth-spurt' was not the answer.
"Are you sure you didn't use the cream?" Melodies asked patiently.
Celanita narrowed her eyes. "Of course I'm sure, do you think I'm stupid or something? You think I wouldn't remember something like that? Follow me and I'll show you I didn't do it. The cream bottle isn't even open!" Celanita turned on her claw and marched back to her room. lex_luther1 and Melodies reluctantly followed her.
The trio arrived at her tower door and Celanita walked in and picked up the bottle. Her mouth dropped open as she saw the cap laying on the floor beneath her. "But I... I swear... I didn't do it! I decided I wasn't going to and I left the bottle with the lid on right here!" She cried, pointing to her bedside table. "You have to believe me!"
"It's not that we don't trust you sweetheart..." Her mother began to explain.
lex_luther1 cut her off, "But if you didn't do it who did?"
Celanita tried to come up with an explanation, but found nothing. She slumped. "I don't know..."
Suddenly Epi appeared in the doorway. "Good... morning everyone, whats all the fuss about?"
Celanita bounded over to the azul, "Look, look, I got my wings! Aren't they beautiful?!"
Epi smiled and said, "That's fantastic Celanita, I'm glad the cream worked." Celanita dropped the smile once more and explained that she didn't use the cream. "Well... how could your wings have grown so fast if you didn't use it?" He asked, confused.
"I...I... think somebody put the cream on me. The cap was off the cream and you could tell some of it had been used... But I didn't use it." Celanita explained, trying to put the pieces together.
"Celanita, who would have done that?" lex_luther1 asked in a harsh tone. "I can't help but think you did it, and are trying to avoid the consequences by pinning the blame on someone else!" Celanita's mouth dropped, outraged of being accused of something she know she didn't do.
"I can't believe.... that you wouldn't believe me!! I would tell you if I used some of the cream and I swear I didn't!!! Why don't you believe me?!"
"Because I know how much you want wings! I know that when Epi first introduced the idea you were all for it, you were willing to risk you life! I definitely think that if you are willing to do that, you are willing to lie to your parents." Her father argued.
"lex!" Melodies scolded, "She says she didn't do it, and I believe her! What we should be focusing on is who applied the cream, since we KNOW it wasn't her." She punctuated this statement with a glare at her husband, and then turned to Epi. "I'm sorry you had to see this... family drama, and I'm sorry we woke you. You can go on back to bed if you like." Epi knew this was a formal dismissal, so he bid them good night and went back to his chambers.
His room was like nothing he had ever been in before. With lavish curtains and silky blankets, he couldn't get enough of their rich lifestyle. "This is going to be what its like every day once they need me to be Celanita's on hand doctor." He thought. "She's going to be so sick, I will have to stay here. Everything is going according to plan... Except that Celanita didn't use the cream... Maybe I was TOO convincing when telling her the risks." He chuckled to himself, then devised a plan to make it look like Celanita really had used the cream. He would draw a picture of her in her new wings and make the caption, 'It was worth it.' Combine that with the fact that she was desperate for wings and her parents would definitely buy into it! And when she got sick and he had the 'cure', the money wouldn't stop coming. He sighed contentedly and went back to sleep in his king sized bed. Yup, he could get used to this.
After her parents had left, Celanita couldn't sleep. She knew she didn't use the cream! But how was she going to make them believe her, they still saw her as a foolish kid. "Stupid Dad.... Not believing me... I'll show him." She muttered to herself, pacing the floor of her room. She always thought better when she was pacing. After 10 solid minutes, she still had nothing. The princess kicked her bed in frustration, how was she going to convince her parents that their little girl had made a grown up decision? She decided to sleep on it, there was still a couple hours before breakfast. She lay in her bed, and after a couple restless minutes, sleep finally came to the troubled princess.
An hour later Epi awoke once more. He had learned that early in the morning was always to best time to strike, and everyone was already tired from the shennangans of earlier. Quickly he drew the picture he had in mind, and on the back he signed it, Celanita! the way he always saw it on royal decrees. He folded it up and creeped silently up the tower stairs. He paused outside the kings and queens room to make sure they weren't still awake. The only sound to be heard was the kings loud snoring. Satisfied, Epi continued up the steps.

lex_luther1 awoke with a start. He was certain he heard a noise outside his room. He slipped out of bed, trying not to disturb his still sleeping wife. He put his ear to the door, and could hear the now fading sound of someone going up the steps to... Celanita's room! What was she doing at this hour?! He grumbled and walked out the door, determined to catch her in the act of being the immature little girl he thought she was.
Once at Celanita's bedchambers Epi bent down and put his ear to the space between her door and the floor to make sure the princess was still asleep. Once again hearing nothing, he silently opened the door. He crept into her room, looking for a not TOO obvious place to put the drawing. He looked around then found the perfect place, in her desk drawer, which he would leave open. He placed the drawing, turned around to go back to his room, and found himself face to face with... lex_luther1.
"What do you think you're doing?!" The king shouted. Celanita awoke at her fathers bellowing and was astonished to find him and Epi in her room.
"What the heck are you guys doing here? What time is it? Dad why do you look so mad?" Celanita questioned, still half asleep
"I am here wondering what Epi is doing in your room."
"Uh uh I was just... uh.... um... I was going to talk to Celanita about the cream.... Yeah and to see if she had any questions about... her wings.... now that she has them... because of me, I brought the cure, I'm the good guy here."
"Do you honestly expect me to believe that? So YOU were the one that put the cream on my daughter!"
"Ewwwww he rubbed my back? He's so ggggrrrrooooossssss!!!!" Celanita explained, still unaware of the gravity of the situation.
"No I didn't I was the one that brought the cream so she could use it if she wanted to, but she didn't want to so my jobs done so I will be leaving now." Epi babbled in a desperate attempt to get out of the situation. He dashed for the door but lex was faster. He grabbed the criminal by the scruff of his neck and hauled him down into the dungeon.

****************

lex_luther1 bared his teeth at Epi, sitting so calmly in front of him. "Wipe that smile off your face," He snarled. "You are going to rot in these dungeons, I don't see whats so funny about that."
"Oh I wouldn't be so sure about that." Epi said tauntingly
"Oh yeah? And why not? You messed with my little girl, and are putting her life in danger. Tell me why I shouldn't just kill you right now."
Epi chuckled, "Because I am the only one that has the cure that can save her." That made the king stop in his tracks.
"What are you talking about?" He said, his voice dangerously low.
"The cream I gave to your daughter was designed to make her sick so I could always be there as the doctor who could keep her alive. If you kill me, or leave me to rot down here your daughter will die. If I were you, I would seriously consider your next move." Epi then smiled, as if everything was alright in the world. lex couldn't believe what was happening. How could he, the mighty king, have let this criminal into his home? How could he have allowed this to happen? Now his daughter was going to die unless he gave this criminal a free pass. As a father, what other choice did he have? lex put his head down and walked out of the dungeon, slamming the door behind him. As he left, he could hear Epi's laughter echoing off the walls.

****************

Two days later Melodies rested her head on her husbands shoulder as they stood in front of their daughter. Epi's 'diagnosis' was mostly correct, after the third night Celanita got very sick. The king had no other choice but to let Epi out so he could help her. So far he had given her a pill that seemed to stop the pain, and more cream to lessen the sickly green her new wings had turned. He kept his remedy under lock and key, and Epi had threatened not to help at all unless he was treated like a prince, so he had a new room even bigger than the one before.
Later that night the king and queen were discussing the situation they had gotten themselves into. "It makes me furious that HE gets to walk around the castle like he owns it, but my daughter, the TRUE heir of the castle is lying sick in bed..." lex ranted. "I cant even imagine what it's like for Celanita. She makes the right choice not to use the cream, and she suffers anyway! Now only this sick twisted azul knows how to keep her alive..."
"Well... maybe he isn't!" Melodies exclaimed. lex turned to his wife questioningly.
"What do you mean?"
"Maybe he isn't the only one who knows how to save her! Maybe we can find a doctor that knows how to cure Celanita, and then everything will be alright!"
"And Epi will finally pay for what he has done.... That's a brilliant idea sweetheart! What would I do without you?" lex_luther1 smiled at his beautiful queen, kissed her on the head, and went to sleep thinking everything would be alright.

Throughout the next couple of days the royal trio interviewed every doctor in the realm. They gave the princess pills, creams, powders, special diets, but nothing reversed the terrible sickness. They had to continue letting Epi take care of her, as much as they hated it. They tried to keep Epi from finding out about the interviews, but when he eventually heard the news he just laughed. "Good luck with that! I admire your optimism, but I was the one that created this cream. What makes you think that some doctor is going to know the cure to an unknown sickness?"
They tried to keep their spirits up, but day after day they were disappointed by the doctors at their disposal. So the king and queen decided to look outside their realm, into other kingdoms where Celanita's sickness might be known. They had dozens of doctors fly in from all over the world, but none of them had encountered the sickness. After two months of searching, and finding no cure, it was all they could do to cling to shreds of hope. Celanita was still bed-ridden, not getting any better with Epi's cure. All it seemed to be doing was keeping her alive, and usually curing the pain. Once, Epi had run out of pain pills and Celanita was moaning throughout the night, her wings feeling like they were on fire.

****************

Three months after they had begun searching they had gone through 147 kingdoms and 286 doctors. Nothing had worked. Celanita had resigned herself to living under Epi's thumb all her life, and rarely ever attended the interviews. She had lost hope....

Celanita opened her eyes to find her mother sitting next to her. "Good morning sunshine." The queen whispered. Celanita smiled at her mother and rested her weary eyes. It seemed like she was never getting much sleep these days, one of the many symptoms of the sickness. "How are you feeling?" Melodies asked.
"Same as always, tired, in pain, not wanting to have to deal with everything."
"Well then don't. We'll take care of all the interviews, just stay in bed today."
Celanita sighed, "You are still doing those interviews? You know you're not going to find anything right?"
"Unlike you, I haven't given up hope."
The princess looked out her window, now enjoying the beautiful view as it was the only thing extraordinary she could look at in her bedroom. Months ago she thought it was a prison without her wings, but now she had them and she was confined to her bed.... Oh how her life had changed....
"Well the first doctor will be here soon, is there anything you need before I have to go downstairs?" Her mother said, jolting her out of her thoughts.
"No I'm good, thanks Mom." Melodies got up to leave but Celanita called her back. "Mom?... I hope you find someone. I really want to be able to use my wings...." The queen of Fairynisha smiled, kissed her bedridden daughter on the forehead and left.
On her wall to the main hall she passed Epi going up to Celanita's room. She scowled at him, making her dislike for him very clear. "Aw don't be mad at me!" The azul said patronizingly. "I'm keeping your daughter alive!" He winked and continued going up the steps.
"Yeah and you're the reason she's sick in the first place you excuse for an azul! Do you have any morals at all?" She called after him. Epi turned, looked at her, smiled, and continued going up the steps. Melodies spat in his direction and continued on her way to the interviews.
It seemed the interviews all went the same, the king and queen described the symptoms, the doctor said they didn't know, but to try this remedy they had heard a million times before. The queen sighed and took her place next to her husband to start meeting the doctors of the day.
The day was uneventful, with nothing that could help their daughter. That night Melodies cracked. "lex I can't do this anymore." She sobbed. "Celanita isn't getting any better and I have to live with the criminal that is doing this to her. No one knows how to help her!! What are we going to do?" She cried onto his shoulder, she was at a loss.
"Shhhh it's ok Mel, it's going to be ok." lex said, rocking her and trying to soothe her.
"It's... no no not going to be ok!" She cried. "We have seen hundreds of doctors and none of them know what to do! Is Cel going to be trapped with Epi her whole life?!" She looked up at her husband, normally the one with all the answers. They were both so confused, and so powerless. "Is... there ANY kingdom you haven't contacted yet? Anyone at all?" lex_luther1 thought about that for a moment and slowly answered
"Well... there are two. There is Mafiara and Zombirika. But the people Mafiara are so.... sketchy! They could be ripping us off entirely, it seems they always have some bad trick up their sleeve. And I don't even think the people of Zombirika even have doctors! Everyone there is... well.... beyond help, they're already dead!"
Melodies sniffed, "Well what other choice do we have? We have already checked everywhere else! Besides, maybe one of them could have the cure!!!"
lex sighed, "Ok. I'll call both of them first thing in the morning, they should get here in three days time. Of course, thats assuming they come."

****************
When the king of Fairynisha made the calls, both realms were ready to help out. Mafiara was sending two doctors and Zomirika was sending the only doctor in their entire kingdom. Three days later a mafia ercuw, a mafia pucu, and a zombie ike showed up at their kingdom claiming they had the cure. "Welcome to our castle, all three of you." lex greeted them. "We very much appreciate the distance you have traveled to be here." The mafia pets snickered and nudged each other, where the zombie ike just groaned. "What are you names kind doctors?"
"I'm Eileanora." The zombie ike grunted her response.
"Hi, I'm Zatima." introduced the mafia pucu, nodding his head. "It's a pleasure to be here."
"Good say sir, I'm Ciua." The mafia ercuw stuck our her hand to shake. lex took it, smiling, and then lead them all into the main hall.
"Alright, so Melodies and I will sit in here and listen to you, one by one, explain what you think can cure Celanita. And just so I don't have to repeat myself three different times, the symptoms are as follows; Her wings are turning a sickly green color, she's in extreme pain, she has a fever but is always cold, she has frequent muscle cramps, and experiences constant fatique." lex sighed once he saw the bewilderment in all of their eyes. How could he possibly expect any of them to solve his problem? He put a fake smile back on his face and asked, "Who wants to go first?"
"I will!" Ciua said immediately.
"I'll go next!" Zatima said quickly, scowling at Ciua. Ciua smiled at him and followed lex into the main hall. lex took his seat next to Melodies and looked expectantly at Ciua.
"Ok, so what I think Celanita has is a mixture of the shakes and jukila. What I give my patients for the shakes is this pill." Ciua put a round blue pill in front of the king and queen, "And for jukila they need to apply this cream on their cramps. Oh and if she drinks this before she goes to bed, it should help her sleep a full nine hours." The ercuw placed a bottle of cream and a thermos full of green liquid on the table.
The king and queen looked at each other. Many doctors had prescribed those exact things, and none of it made a difference in Celanita's condition. Her symptoms were part of a sickness that was not that easily cured. "Thank you Ciua. We will definitely try those remedies. But what do you suggest for her wings?"
Ciua suddenly found the floor very interesting when she said "I don't know. We've never had that in Mafiara."
"Alright then, I understand. Thank you so much for your time." Melodies said, smiling at her.
"You're welcome. When you want more of those remedies, give me a call." The ercuw said haughtily, and she flew away.
There was little to no difference in what Zatima presented, except for having a cast of sorts for her cramps. "It will work wonders," He said, "All my patients love it." When asked about Celanita's wings, he gave them a half-used tube of cream when, on inspection, was 10 years past its expiration date. After the pucu had left, the king tossed it straight in the trash.
Next, Eileanora came in. "Good afternoon miss, what do you think will cure Celanita?" Melodies asked politely, not holding out much hope for the rotting ike. Eileanora simply placed a 24 ounce bottle of powder in front of them. Curious, the king and queen opened it and sniffed it.
"What will this do?" lex asked cautiously. The powder was odorless, something they hadn't seen before.
"I've seen.... her green wings before. In Zomirika, you use this.... or wings fall off and not work." The king and queen sat straight up in their chairs. It was rare for people to even pretend they knew what was happening with Celanita's wings, and now this zombie ike was saying she had seen the exact same thing before!
"What will this powder do? How do we use it?" The queen asked, allowing herself to think for a second that they might have actually found the cure.
"Bathe her with.... hot water, put in scoop... of powder for five nights. This make her... better." Eileanora grunted. The king and queen looked at each other hopefully, maybe this could be what they were looking for.
"Calm down honey, let's not get our hopes up." said lex whispered to Melodies, not wanting to be disappointed yet again. He smiled and turned to the zombie ike. "Thank you so much for your time, if this works you and your family will be well rewarded. Eileanora twisted her mouth into what could be described as a smile, and tottered out of the room.
"I can't help but have a good feeling about this one." Melodies said, fingering the powder bottle.

That night the king and queen stood in front of their daughter, and repeated what Eileanora had said. Celanita tried to stay calm, but the excitement was plain in her eyes. "Ok, I'll try it. But I can't let Epi see it. If he thinks it will work he'll take it from me. He's laughed at all of them so far but I don't want to take any chances."
"Alright, once you're done with it each night, we'll take it into our room so he won't see it."
"Ok.... now get out so I can take a bath." Celanita said smiling, and she shooing her parents out of her room.

****************
The next day Celanita woke up quite later than the sleep-deprived schedule she was used to. 'Maybe it's the cream!' She thought hopefully. She raced downstairs to tell her parents and bumped into Epi on the steps.
"Good morning princess" He said icily, "You seem awfully chipper today."
"Uh... yeah... Guess it's just one of those days." She said, laughing nervously. "I was going to go... have breakfast with my parents so I have to go, bye!" She scooted around him and limped the rest of the way downstairs. Epi narrowed his eyes as she watched her leave. 'Something's not right.' He said to himself, and he went back down to his room.

****************
Three days later Celanita's condition had turned a corner. She was feeling a lot better, and could walk around with a lot less pain then before. She was definitely getting better! Her wings were turning a little more blue, but they were not yet at the right shade. Tonight was the last night she had to use the powder and she was looking forward to being able to use her wings for the first time.
However, she needed to be careful as Epi was wising up to the fact that she was getting better, and that her parents were no longer interviewing doctors. Once, she had even caught him poking around her room! Thank goodness she had given the powder to her parents, otherwise he might have found it already.
At 11:30:47 MST, Celanita bounded into her parents room to meet them for brunch. "Hi Daddy, Hi Mommy." She said. She was so excited that today was her last day of living with Epi! After this she would never have to see him again. Her smile was diminished when she saw her parents anxious expressions. "...What's wrong?" Celanita asked, immediately assuming the worst. "Is the powder gone or something? Did Epi take it?"
"No, it's not that bad sweetie..." Melodies assured her daughter.
"But it was almost!" lex exclaimed, "How can you pretend it's ok?"
"Why Dad, what happened?"
"We found Epi snooping around in our room about 10 minutes ago. He didn't find the powder but the fact that he was in our room and he COULD found it makes me really nervous." Melodies confessed, looking at her husband.
"Why don't we just lock him up now?" Celanita exclaimed, "He was snooping in my room too!"
"We don't want to do that yet honey, what if the powder doesn't completely make your wings better? What if once you run out you are sick again? Epi's a diva, he is not going to help if we lock him up." Melodies explained.
lex scowled, "So what are we going to do about it until then? We can't let him get away with this."
"We have to! If he thinks we don't need him anymore he could do something stupid. He have to pretend like we still need his help, and for all we know, we do. Even though Cel has been taking the powder she has also been using Epi's remedies. We have to stay calm, and outthink our enemy. Let's be smart." Melodies explained.
They ate the rest of their brunch trying to avoid the topic of Celanita's sickness.

That night as Celanita was about to get in the bathtub there was a knock at her door. She quickly hid the bottle of powder in the bathroom and opened her bedroom door to find.... Epi. "Oh uh... Hi Epi. Can I help you with something? I'm really tired and I was about to go bed." She fake yawned and tried to close the door but Epi wedged his way through into her room. "Um.... What are you doing?"
"I just want to wait with you to help you go to sleep." Epi said, smiling, with an evil glint in his eyes.
"Uh I don't think that's a good idea. You should really leave... like now." Celanita said. She wasn't going to be able to take a bath if Epi was there!
"No, I really think I should stay." Epi said patronizingly, the cruel grin still on his face.
"I am going to call my parents!" Celanita said, desperately trying to get him out.
"Oh, I don't think you want to do that. If you try to get them to kick me out, I won't help you anymore. Sayonara wings!" Epi threatened. "Besides, all I'm doing is keeping you company." Celanita knew that he was really there to keep an eye on her, and make sure she didn't use any kind of remedy that wasn't his. She was trapped!
"Well.... I have to go to the bathroom really bad so if you'll excuse me..." Celanita tried to side step him but Epi blocked her way.
"You just said how tired you were, I think you should go to sleep." He said menacingly.
Celanita had no choice but to go to bed. She turned off the light and got into bed as Epi pulled up a chair to sit right over her. "Sweet dreams little princess." He said sarcastically.
"I don't see how that's possible." Celanita muttered. She had to get out of this! She needed to use the powder or she would never get better, especially if Epi kept this up. She would just pretend to fall asleep! Once she did Epi would probably leave, and then she could take her bath. After 15 minutes, she slowed down her breathing and stayed stock still. But Epi still didn't move. She started to panic, thinking he would never leave, but after 5 more minutes of keeping up the charade she heard her 'jailguard' get up and close the door.
She got out of bed and quickly made a run for the bathroom, but she was suddenly tackled from the side, Epi had never left!!! Celanita screamed as loud as she could, trying to wake up her parents, but the azul covered her mouth.
"Shut up you little brat! Now where's the cure? What are you using?!" Celanita bit him as hard as she could, tasted blood, and shoved him off of her. She raced to the bathroom and locked the door behind her. Epi slammed himself against the door over and over, trying to force it open. Still trembling she ran the hot water and got the powder ready. She had no time to waste, she could hear the door creaking.
With as little water as she could possibly use she sat down in the bath and put the powder all over her. She quickly splashed water over her, praying that it would be enough to make the cure work. Once there was no powder left on her, she yelled out the window, hoping someone would hear her. "HELP ME!!! SOMEONE!!! HELP!!!!" Epi was still slamming on the door, and she could see cracks on the surface. She was cornered, the only thing she could do was climb out her bathroom's tiny window onto the narrow ledge in the hopes that Epi wouldn't follow her out there. The moment she had hauled herself out the window, the door finally gave way. Epi came in a fit of rage, she hardly recognized him. His wings were tattered and the ball on the top of his head was barely holding on. His eyes glinted with a rage she had never seen before.
He laughed maniacally when he saw her, "You can't run from me princess!" He spat. "Time for you to meet your maker!" He lunged at her, narrowly missing. But unlike Cel, he was in a very stable position and could afford to make a couple misses. He lunged at her again, and this time caught her fur, drawing blood. Celanita screamed, and fell backwards off the ledge. The last thing she saw was her parents bursting in the room, and their surprise at seeing her fall off her seven story tower.
Celanita screamed, for someone, anyone, to catch her, but she knew that all the servants had gone home for the day. There was nothing she could do, except enjoy the moment. She laughed when she realized that this was the closest she would ever get to flying... She closed her eyes and imagined herself flying over Fairynisha, bringing joy to all of the townspeople. She dreamed of the simple joy of flapping her wings, and being able to go wherever she pleased...
Suddenly she realized she was no longer falling. She felt the air whoosing around her... but the opposite way it had before. She opened her eyes to see the ground getting smaller beneath her. She was flying! Her wings were working, just in time! She flapped them again and again, to convince herself they were actually working. She had her wings, no strings attached this time.
"WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOO!!!" She cried. This is what she had been dreaming of all her life! And now her wings had saved her life. She did loops up and down in the air, enjoying the feel of the wind on her fur. She had beat Epi!! She had her wings!!!!!!!!!!!!! She looked to her bathroom window and saw her parents crying tears of joy that she was alright. She flew up to them and nuzzled them both. "I love you both so much.... No words can describe how amazing I feel right now." Neither of her parents knew how to respond, so they all simply hugged each other, crying.

****************
A week later, Celanita felt like she was living the dream. Epi was rotting in a prison cell for the crimes against her, and she was so grateful for everything she had. She had gone from being bedridden with a terrible sickness, to being a real princess, wings and all. With her newfound sense of appreciation for her life, she started giving back. She personally went to Zomirika and helped build houses for all the inhabitants. She also spread the cure of the disease which she named Epititis so no one would ever have to suffer like she did. She was in every way a model princess.
