Although her patrol, or so they called it, was in the very early morning until ten, Olia was awake. She sat in a blue armchair in the board she was allowed, listening to the pounding of rain outside her window and the faint ticking of her old alarm clock, steady.
Olia was technically a hunter, although she had absolutely no fondness for guns and in fact refused to carry one. She was more an asset to the Integral League than a weapon, having studied the behaviors of vampires and developed weapons against them. They often sent a real hunter out with her during her patrols.
At the moment, sitting in her armchair, Olia was typing on a laptop positioned atop a pair of white pyjama pants decorated with rainbows. The title of the word document was along the lines of 'Vampire Protection and You', one of the many brochure type documents she had saved in case their enemies became too powerful for them to handle.
Straight brown hair that fell past her shoulders was at the moment pulled into a messy bun. Her brown eyes, framed by square glasses, read over her paragraph. Truly, when she wasn't working, she was working.
Accompanying her pyjama pants was a kiwi-green tank top. Her skin was pale, but not ghostly so, just that of a shut it. She had a round, somewhat innocent face, which made one startle at the tattoo on her left arm, which was a skull with a snake twisting out of it. Olia offered no explanation of it.

Also watching the rain pour, albeit from a much larger room, was a tall figure. He looked perfectly normal, his curly black hair combed neatly atop his head, his pallid skin free of blemishes, face relaxed. His single oddity were his eyes, which were the startling yellow of a vampire.
Despite his eyes, he was often able to slip past the sensors because, despite being wealthy, he did not flaunt his money like many of his kind did. He appeared to be a simple working man. His best guess for age was in his early thirties, and his story was that he had lost his wife to cancer, or sometimes pneumonia, or some other human disease, when he had in fact never been married and was well over a hundred.
He was also fairly handsome, with somewhat square features accompanied by being quite dapper, currently dressed in a light blue dress shirt and grey slacks. His name for now was Darren Oswald, PhD.
