Character Cossie Re-release Debate

/Clears throat. Alrighty, let's get this rolling...
I know a lot of people are upset over Ian's decision to re-release very expensive character cossies in the AUs. People worked very hard to obtain these items and it's entirely understandable why you would be upset. But look at it this way, Ian lost a couple quality members, most of which are now rich enough to not need to spend money on AUs. However, through re-releasing these costumes he retained more than he lost, retained members who would spend their money on AUs and made more money off the site.

What are your views on his actions?
