10th Aug 2010 01:36 Emily was a beautiful and joyful little girl. She had cute little dimples and a sweet smile, she was always happy, nothing rained on her parade. Everyone knew her and agreed that she made things seem better when she was around. That is why it was such a tragedy when it happened. No one would have believed that anyone would want to take such a sweet and innocent girl, she was only eight. It was the day that her mother was going to take her to the zoo to finally see the elephants like she has always wanted. Emily was so excited, during school that day she told all her friends about it. She couldn't wait to get home, she watched the clock in class all day. After school when she got on the bus she sat in the front seat so she could get of first and rush home. her house isn't far from the bus stop but it was far enough for it to happen without a single witness, they think. It didn't take long for Emily's mother to realize something was wrong when she didn't get home on time.
when the police arrived her mom was hysterical she could barely answer the questions the police were asking her. they went to investigate at the school, they questioned her teacher to see if there were any problems at school or if she was having trouble. Nothing, her teacher said she was doing excellent and was the brightest student she had. No leads r even suspects. they made sure with the bus driver that she got on the bus and got off. So they decided to search around the block from the bus stop to Emily's house. Not much was found but there was a few letters that are from different houses not just in the neighborhood. They also found her left shoe, they weren't sure before if she was really taken but they are now.
They questioned a few neighbors and friends on the block. they asked if they ever noticed anyone suspicious or just unusual. They did mention some companies that were over for a while working on the electrical system is what they said but it was checked out nothing suspicious.
