Held Hostage in Wal-Mart

19th Jul 2009 12:52 Walking on the Wal-Mart floor
I know that I need to bolt for the door.
Now I will never get out of here.
I can't help but be full of fear.
I look at all the merchandise.
I know I must not, but I check the price.
Without control things are in the cart.
This will later break my heart.
I want to leave but I cannot
This place has my attention caught.
I walk the store from end to end
Past every corner, around each bend.
Finally I am through in here.
I am now in front of the cashier.
I scream when I hear the cost.
Wal-Mart makes me feel so lost.
I've made it to the parking lot
I'm on my way to my parking spot.
I plop into the driver's seat.
Now I know I can't be beat.
I turn the key, the car won't start!
Now I'm going to fall apart!
I check the battery, it is dead.
I lay my hands against my head.
Wal-Mart gives me an evil smile.
It was planning this all the while
I get out of the car to go back in
To be held hostage all over again.
