It was so silent that i heard
all my bones shake
like a shattering piece of glass...

It was so peaceful that i heard
all the snoring flowers
sleeping peacefully...

It was so still that i heard
the concrete moan and groan
for air...

It was so silent that i heard
a banana fall from a sleeping tree
onto the dusty ground...

It was so still that i felt
a slimy hand touch me
as i stood in the graveyard...

It was so calm that i sensed
a sad smile crack the face
of a stranger...

It was so quiet that i heard nothing
i woke up
thank goodness it was only a dream...
