Kai spotted Kota in the distance and felt his mood immediatly change from sorrowful to aggression. A low growl formed in his throat as the unfamiliar male approached, and he barked."What are you doing here, Loner?"His eyes back to the brightness they had been, and his mane high. His tail now rose and he stood tall waiting for the male to respond.

Time seemed to pass quickly as Kai lay in the hidden den. Laying on his back he faced the top of the den and sighed. Rolling over and standing to his feet ,"Now me and Fern can never be together."He murmured before crawling down the narrow tunnle and exited the den. Shaking his pelt of the clear water he snorted and looked to Kira, besfore walking back towards the den.

Kai vanished into the covered up underground cave. Crawling down the narrow tunnle like passage, Kai made it into a large den like room. Though this unknown cave was behind the waterfall, it was quite dry inside. A bed of emerald grass spread across another room in the cave. Kai sighed as helaid down in the bed and thought of his life that would be next to Kira.
