The Purple Bear part 1

Chapter one: the purple bear Alice was running as fast as she could back to her home. The moonlight was fading into sunrise, looking over her shoulder she saw the mysterious purple bear with a crescent moon upon its forehead,??? Stop I have to protect you???! Alice ignored and kept running until she tripped on a piece of driftwood on her front porch and stumbled to the ground. She pulled herself up and into her house, scrambling up the stairs into her parents room,??? Mom, Dad theirs a big purple bear following me,??? She was leaping up and down on her parents bed to wake them,??? Your just dreaming go back to bed, you need your rest tomorrows the first day of school.??? Alice slumped down off her parents bed and walked to her bedroom, she lay on her bed falling into a deep slumber. She awoke the next morning by the sound of her mothers voice,??? Alice did you hear me, wake up the bus is here in 20 minutes.??? Alice got dressed quickly and stormed out of her room and down into the kitchen. Her heart was pounding like as if being hit by a gong, she was excited about the first day of 7th grade. After she had finished some toast she walked through the front door upon which she saw a necklace with a crescent moon that looked much like the moon on the forehead of the purple bear connected to the chain, she picked it up and put it in her backpack. After school was over Alice got on the bus and took out the crescent moon necklace, staring at it as if she was tangled within a treasured book. As someone tapped her shoulder she noticed it was her stop, when she was home if the necklace was hers,??? No, it isn???t were did you find it,?????? On the front porch this morning,?????? Its beautiful, well any wash up for dinner it will be ready in 10 minutes.??? Alice wolfed down her dinner and headed to bed. ******************************************************* It had been 3 months and Alice was now out of school for winter break, she had been rapidly thinking over and over again about the mysterious purple bear she had seen the day before the first day of school, she wondered what it meant when it said,??? Stop I have to protect you,?????? Protect me, protect from what???? That night Alice thought she would go looking for the purple bear, she packed her stuff and grabbed the tent, she told her mom she was going camping with her friends for the weekend so she left out the front door and into the woods. She had lied to her mother about going camping with a friend, but she knew that she had to find that purple bear.
