Why do ppl tell sad storys...

People are turning gothic and emo cause of what our world is going through...Why cant we all just be happy for once and just not be sad and emo I just got done reading a really sad stroy one of my friends sent me and it gave me tears I just couldnt stop crying it was so sad but I never get happy ending storys any more gosh what has our world gone to.....
