A new Pyramid has opened in the Kamilah Desert. Complete all 16 pieces of the Puny Pyramid Treasure Map from the new Jinn Account Upgrade set to gain lifetime access. This ancient Puny Pyramid has 50 levels inside. While inside the pyramid, your pet will see ancient symbols on the walls or floor which will help him safely proceed to the next level. But you will need Toy Blocks to help translate.

At each level of the Pyramid, you will get a prize. It can be either items, currency, pet stats or Account Upgrade Credit. There is no time limit for completing the Pyramid, but you can only complete one level every 10 hours. If you manage to reach level 50, you will be able to add any missing Glowing Egg to your Nest!

We have been busy working on a new and improved Load Balancer for the site. At the moment, whenever you load a page on Marapets it will select one of the many server nodes at random. While this obviously works most of the time, there are times when certain servers receive a much higher amount of traffic than others. At peak times this has sometimes caused 'time out' errors or a slower load time. Our new load balancer will distribute the load properly and will put a stop to these issues. It will also allow us to expand the number of server nodes so that the site continues to load as quickly as possible. This should go live on Monday and you should not notice any downtime.

Marapets has had 100.00% uptime performance so far for the whole of 2019 and we are constantly working to make sure this remains. Thank you for all of the Account Upgrade buyers who have helped us to manage this!

Before it could ask for 1, 2 or 3 for each level and this has been too hard to complete for far too long!

You will receive prizes for each of your pet's music stat levels - the higher you train, the more you are rewarded! There are currently prizes for 270 or more Music Stats.

We have some exciting news about the Giveaway Rules. Last year, the rules were made stricter to protect players accounts that may have been compromised. Since this rule change we have made many, many important changes to the site to limit any damage that is caused when an account is compromised. The Rules about giveaways have now returned to normal. However, everyone should take the time to read the Rules and remind themselves.

The important thing to remember is that at MaraPets we encourage all players to be nice, friendly and helpful to each other and giving away items/currency/pets is always encouraged but please use common sense. If in doubt, or you are planning a very large/excessive giveaway, you will require staff approval by Support Ticket. Giving away excessive items to the same person/people will be treated as multiple account abuse. The fairest and easiest way to give away any items is via the Pot of Gold and we encourage everyone to use this.

The Candy Tree is spreading the love this Valentine's Day! He has taken a break from his quests and is rewarding everyone who visits him. All pets can visit him every 30 minutes but any pet wearing a Baby, Love, Cupid, Valentine, Red, Magenta, Pink or Coral Costume can visit every 15 minutes. All of these prizes will retire when this event ends February 28th.





Instead of the annual Valentine's Day Hunt, all of the Quest characters will be spreading the love until February 28th. You may randomly receive one of these FREE gifts when you complete any quest as a bonus prize along with your usual quest reward! As the Candy Tree is not currently performing quests you cannot win these from there.

The Baby Costume was first released in June 2005 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and forgotten about ever since. A new version of the Baby Account Upgrade has been released, with 7 new Baby themed items and either a Baby coloured Nino or Fasoro Enchanted Plushie. This AU will retire April 15th.

Our Christmas Carol Singing Event has just started. It will end automatically December 31st. Everyone can take part for FREE! You can visit the profile of any player that is currently online, hit the 'Sing Carols' button and you may receive a prize. You can only visit each person once per day and you will receive MP or an item. All of these item prizes will retire at the end of this event too!

If your character is wearing an approved Christmas Costume you are guaranteed an item or MP prize at every visit. Players without the costume can still take part, but on average only a quarter of all visits will receive any kind of prize. This means that players with an approved costume will win 4 times more prizes!

We understand there is some frustration and confusion over the Christmas gifting rules and we would like to try to make things a little simpler for everyone at this time of year. The rule was put in place to safeguard hacked accounts and to discourage multiple accounts, it was not really meant to take the joy out of Christmas and stop players from sending items to their friends or from taking part in Secret Santa events. From now until December 25th players can gift items to friends and send Secret Santa items WITHIN REASON.

We realise that all accounts have different values so to set an mps limit is not really fair. You may send items that you can easily afford without your account being left poor or empty. Please remember that staff can see all account transactions and will be watching these closely.

Anyone who tries to use the "Christmas gifting" to send their items/mps to a friend/sibling or multiple account will still have their account frozen along with the receiving account, as per normal procedure. You do so at your own risk and have been warned.

The 2018 Advent Tree prizes have now been released. If you have completed the full set of Advent Tree Instructions, you can now visit the Advent Tree in Biala Mountain to claim your prizes. There are 14 new items to be claimed and this year you will receive 3 of each item! The 2017 prizes are no longer available and have been retired.
