SITE UPDATE
You may of noticed that the site is running a lot faster recently and the majority of the site's bugs and glitches have been fixed. We are still continuing to fix the remainder of the site. We do still however have a major problem with the main hardware the site uses which needs replacing. The replacement is really expensive and has taken us the past 3 months to save up for! We hope to be able to move to the new system this week but until then we will have the site randomly crash and get Server Errors almost all around the site! When the site is moved to the new system and we finish fixing the remainder of the site, the site will not have any major problems or downtime again!

The new July Account Upgrades have been released! There are 2 different themes - Explorer and Light Fairy! Here are some of the items you can get this month..

And with both Account Upgrades you will 7 random pieces of the new Simerian Explorer Treasure Map. Completing the map will give you access to a new Quest, the Explorer and you can get Runes for completiting quests. Runes have the runic alphabet on then and are one of many ancient languages lost inside of Simeria. You will need runes to translate writings on the wall inside one of the Simerian Temples. It will be released next week and until then you won't know anything else about the Temple!

FLASH GAMES UPDATE
We have been very busy fixing old bugs and glitches in all of our Flash Games. We still have to fix a few small bugs and the send score feature on the latest 5 games, but bugs in the older games have now been fixed! Even Undead Billiards is now glitch free and that game has been broken for nearly 2 years now! We hope to have every bug in every game fixed by the end of next week. If you play any of the games from today and find any new bugs, please post on my blog and we'll get it fixed!

A brand new quest, the Simerian Explorer has just been released in the Lost City of Simeria. The lost city of Simeria is in ruins for an unknown reason. Only recently discovered, the world has so much undiscovered history. Why was the city destroyed? What happened to the rest of the Simerian tribe? There are so many questions to be answered! That is why explorers spend so much time in this world.

If you complete the Simerian Explorer Treasure Map you will be able to find the exact location the explorer is currently at. Once you find him inside this huge world, you will be able to complete his quests. If you bring him the items he needs, he will reward you with MP and maybe even a Rune he found while exploring Simeria. Runes are the key to understanding one of the many ancient langugages in Simeria, and will help you find you way around the Simerian Temples...

The missing Default Avatars have been added now.

The Boosters have been updated. You can now use one per pet every 4 hours and they give between 3 and 6 stats.

A new set of items has just been released! Boosters are one use items that you can use on pets to gain stats. There is a time limit for using them, based on the level of your pet, using the same hourly time limits as the Gym. You can gain between 1 and 6 stats from each booster. The Magic Booster is one of the new Loyalty Prize items and the other 5 boosters are in the new limited edition Account Upgrade items.

Account Upgrades have had a processing error for the past week that took until yesterday to fix. Its working automatically and instantly now and we apologise for anyone who had to wait longer than usual to get their credit. Anyone that was waiting for credit was manually given credit today but if you think we missed you out, please email us or open a support ticket and we'll fix it for you right away. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The King's Loyalty Prizes have been updated. The King now tells you the exact date and time you joined Marapets and he is rewarded players up to 3 years now!

We have just released 2 brand new Games! These new flash games are in the Card Games category. They cannot send score at the moment but this and any other games that have bugs are being worked on now. To help us find out about all of the bugs any of our Games have in them, I have added a new Blog on my profile. Please can you comment on it with your bug reports about Flash Games. We will fix the bugs and release the updated versions as soon as possible. For now, enjoy these 2 games until their final versions are released for you to send score!

SITE UPDATE
As some of you may already know, to help upgrade the site and move it to our new faster and more stable system, we had to completely reprogram a site! It has taken the past 3-4 months to literally start again with the site and code over 3 year's work again. I'm happy to say that the vast majority (approximately 80% of the site) of this has been completed and is now online and running on the site. You may of noticed that as sections of the "new" site were added, these sections had lots of new features added and quite few old ones removed. The main benefit is that they are a lot faster and more stable than before but its also allowed for us to add new features. Auctions can now be for marapals and club members only. Search around the site is a lot faster and we managed to bring back the very useful Attic Search. Blogs can now be commented on. Signatures/fonts/avatars can now be different in Forums, Maramail and Clubs. These are just a few of the many changes that have been made - there is too many to list!

It won't be long now until the rest of the site is finished and all of the remaining glitches and site problems are gone. When that is finished, the site will go down for 4-12 hours of maintenance while we move to our new system. Don't worry though, there will be plenty of warning before the downtime! Until this maintenance, the site may still randomly crash like it has been for the past few months. This is hardware fault that won't be fixed until the move to the new system.
