GAMES UPDATE
Flash Games now pay out MP rewards again, instead of Score Points, for *New Players*. It is a maximum of 1,500MP per game. Once a player has been with us for 30 days, they will then stop earning MP and will earn Score Points instead. The Game of the Week will award newbies with double MP (up to 3,000MP per game) and older players 5 Score Points instead of 1. We think that this change is needed to help newbies earn MP more easily when they are starting out.

A new Cartoon Account Upgrade has just been released. The main prize is 8 random pieces of the new Unnecessary Perfection Instructions. You will also receive a cartoon themed book, dvd, potato, gourmet pizza, stamp, minipet and costume. When you complete these instructions, you will permanently unlock a new feature that allows you to organise your Pets and Collections. In the same way that you can sort your galleries, you will be able to instantly change the order your pets show up around the site!

Later this week, you will also be able to organise your Plushie, Photo, Plates and Trading Card collections on profiles just like Galleries too! This is especially useful for those who battle often, as you can move the trading cards you are battling to the top, so they'll show at the top of the first page of the Battles page!

She realises how important quests are for the economy and the every day lives of all Maradans and rewards you these prizes for FREE for completing a certain amount of Quests.

QUEST UPDATE
The Quests section of the Games page has now been updated. All 26 quests are now listed here and are all activated for the Weekly Quest Challenge - these Avatars are now working! All 26 of these quests count towards the Monthly Checklist counter and the 'Total Quests' counter on profiles/high scores list now includes all 26 quests. Your counter will now automatically recount when you view this count on your profile.

MAINTENANCE COMPLETE
We would like to thank you all for your patience during our important Site Maintenance earlier today. As soon as the power was cut off to the site, Zetzilla started to destroy the city of Marada! The city of Marada is in chaos!! You can now loot the shops there, grabbing a FREE item from the Post Office or Car Parts shop once every 30 minutes. The Newsagent can also be looted! If you dare to visit the School, all pets can also receive FREE lessons! Have a pet stuck in Prison? You can escape for FREE now that it has been destroyed!!!

Although five evil Newths were electrocuted while they were fixing the servers, the maintenance was successful and the site is now back to normal... stayed tuned for more news about the future of The City of Marada. We may need ALL of your help defeating him soon before he destroys EVERYTHING...

The Greedy Fairy has also been fixed.

SITE MAINTENANCE
The whole site will be going offline for several hours tomorrow, February 19th at approx 6am Marapets time (Pacific Standard Time) or 2pm UK time (GMT). During this time the site will be closed and for some of the time it may not appear online. We will keep you updated on our Facebook Page. We hope to be back up and running within 3-6 hours. The maintenance is required to replace and upgrade our datacentre equipment.
