Elfember is the season for giving but not every Marapet may deserve to be rewarded. A new, annual Krampus event has just started. It will automatically end December 25th.

High above Biala, in the cold and frozen mountain ranges, lurks the Krampus. Leering down upon the village, he waits every year for his chance to kidnap naughty Marapets! He watches pets all year, keeping a list of the naughty and the nice. As Christmas draws closer and closer, the Krampus reveals himself in the month of December. He offers gifts to especially well behaved Marapets. If you're feeling brave, you can ask him for gifts for your pets. If your pet has been naughty, he might just punish them...



Pets wearing an Advent, Angel, Blitzen, Christmas, Christmas Tree, Elf, Gingerbread, Ice, Polar, Seasonal, Snow, Snowman, Tundra or Winter Costume can visit Krampus every 15 minutes. All other pets can visit every 30 minutes.





Krampus has been added to the Biala Mountain map.

A new Account Upgrades Promotion has started. The Kidlet Ears and Bearger prizes have been replaced with a Hamster Onesie and Glowing Snowman Egg. All players will receive these 2 new items and 30% extra credit for FREE with their next purchase of Account Upgrades Credit.


All Sybri pets will receive DOUBLE STATS at the Gym and Elite Gym until December 18th.

All Snowman and Water pets will receive FREE TRAINING at the Gym and Elite Gym until December 31st.

And all Snowman and Water pets will receive FREE LESSONS at the School until December 31st.

There are 16 new Hidden Avatars for you to find.

Elfember is here and we all know how much Santa Claws hates Elf! Santa Claws has stopped his normal Quests until January 1st. Instead of rewarding you MP for completing his quest, he will instead give you one entry to his New Years Raffle. The more quests you complete, the more entries you will have. The New Years Raffle will be announced in January.

There will be 100 winners of 1,000,000MP, 3 winners of £25 Account Upgrades Credit, 10 winners of £10 Account Upgrades Credit and 25 winners of £5 Account Upgrades Credit. There will also be 2 prizes of each of these retired costumes : Advent, Angel, Blitzen, Christmas, Christmas Tree, Elf, Gingerbread, Ice, Polar, Seasonal, Snow, Tundra and Winter. Hundreds of new, bonus items will also be won!

The Snowman Costume was first released in December 2008 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and forgotten about ever since. A new version of the Snowman Account Upgrade has been released, with 8 new snowman themed items and either a Snowman coloured Sybri or Newth Enchanted Plushie. This AU will retire December 25th.





The Decadal, Huthiq, Newth, Raulf, Sybri and Yuni can now wear the Snowman Costume. The Snowman Dakota and Kidlet have been revamped - we hope you like the changes!

December is here, it's winter season in Marada and we have SO much happening from now until December 31st, including our Secret Santa Event, our Santa Claws New Year's Raffle, Advent Calendar, Advent Tree, limited edition Account Upgrade items, Elf and two new for 2015 events! These 2 new events are Krampus and Carol Singing.

The Christmas Elf has returned to Marada just in time for Christmas! Make your account look festive with lots of red and green because Elf will be visiting profiles, looking for members with a festive themed doll and rewarding them with gifts. Elf will also be showing up on the forums with give aways for deserving players who have festive dolls, siggies and avatars. You could get rare and retired items or even a festive LE pet.

You do not have to have a festive costume, you can dress up your doll in red, green and gold or silver and white for a frosty look.

If you are a younger player and you do not have access to forums you can still take part. Elf will visit profiles picked randomly from the Online list so make sure you are ready in case Elf drops by.

The Foxfire Pond has been released. Foxfire Forest is filled with many magical creatures of all shapes and sizes. Some are friendly and eager to make friends after hundreds of years of slumber - others are just hungry and looking for a snack! If you complete the Foxfire Pond Treasure Map, Favolos the monster living inside the pond will reveal herself. You can then feed her once every 12 hours.

Feeding Favolos can have many different outcomes. She may reward you with gym or school stats, currency (including Account Upgrades Credit), a Gourmet Minipet or even gobble up your pet and spit it out a different colour or species. If you are really lucky, it may change into a limited edition pet!








The Foxfire Pond has been added to the Foxfire Forest world map.

It's almost Thanksgiving in the United States and we would like to wish all of our players celebrating a very happy Thanksgiving. Everyone at Marapets is thankful for each and every one of you!

There is a shortage of Gobbles in Marada. With Talon frightened that he will be cooked instead, he has hired a replacement Gurple until December 15th. Gurple is an original Gobble, too ugly and unpalatable to be eaten. Are you brave enough to fight him in the Battle Arena? The Water Costume was first released in August 2005 in Account Upgrades and the costume has been retired and forgotten about ever since. Elger has taken the time off from doing quests during this holiday season. Instead, you can visit her with your pet dressed up for Halloween to go Trick or Treating for FREE once every 20 minutes - Phantom Pets can visit once every 15 minutes!

All you need to take part is a pet wearing a Halloween, Phantom, Mad Scientist, Nefarious, Bug, Skeleton, Ghost, Witch, Dark, Zombie, Wizard, Voodoo, Vampire, Goblin, Rotten, Midnight, Insideout, Gothic, Eleka, Killer, Headless, Mutant, Mummy, Werewolf, Nightmare, Monster, Poison or Devil costume. These prizes will retire when the Elger Trick or Treat ends November 11th.

A brand new Phantom Account Upgrade has been released, with new phantom themed items and either a Phantom coloured Sindi or Knutt Enchanted Plushie. As this is a new costume, the AU will retire in two months on December 31st.





The Gonk, Knutt, Sindi and Zola can now wear the Phantom Costume. More pets will be able to wear this costume soon.
