20 Signs You???re Obsessed with Darren Shan

This isn???t really supposed to be funny, I was just compelled to write it after I realised that most of these . . . all apply to me. There are spoilers, sort of.

1. [x] You have developed a sudden interest in spiders since reading the series.
2. [x] You point out pickled onions every time you see them in the store.
3. [x] If you encounter a person named either ???Darren??? or ???Steve??? at random you make an effort to befriend them.
4. [x] You didn???t like the movie as much as the books, but it???s related to Darren Shan, so you???ll watch it until your eyes fall out.
5. [x] You have encouraged (or forced) a friend or family member to read the series.
6. [x] Or, your friends/family might has well have read the series because you talk about it so often that they have acquired a standard knowledge.
7. [x] You check Darren Shan???s website quite frequently.
8. [x] If you find someone else who has read the series you have a fan-attack and get into a heated discussion about endings, plot twists and possible sequels.
9. [x] You use quotes from the books in random conversation.
10. [x] Even though freak circuses are immoral and illegal, if you got the chance, you???d go to one.
11. [x] You have every book in the series. And the manga. And the movie. And a poster.
12. [x] Before you had every book in the series, you???d borrow the books from the library so often that the librarian would know what to expect.
13. [x] When/if you got a swine flu mask, you ran around making Harkat jokes.
14. [x] Whenever anyone asks you whether you???re on team Edward or team Jacob, your reply is always Team <insert Darren Shan Character???s Name here>

Sad but true. All of them, I???m not joking. >_<
For number 9, the quote I use most frequently is the one Darren makes about how everyone should be turtles. ^_^
