The ringleader stood up. "You freaks are hiding something," he muttered. He headed towards the other door of the kitchen, the one Alex wasn't standing by, and left.

Alex was relieved. She wasn't going to be punished; how great. She'd only been here for a few days; she didn't want her first days to be her last.

Dawn grinned. And right before Azmarelda's eyes, Dawn morphed into a large giraffe. "Oh, good, this tent /was/ large enough, I was afraid I would tear a whole through the top," the giraffe said in Dawn's voice, glancing up at the top of the tent, which was still a good distance away from the top of Dawn's giraffe head.

"Yes, but she said she was getting it for Scarlett. Scarlett's been gone for a few day's now," the ringleader said scornfully.

Azmarelda grinned curiously and looked up at the ceiling of the tent. 'Big enough,' she thought. "I like giraffes... why?" Harriet started bitting her nails, one to the next and watched Dawn closely. She wondered what she was going to do.

Charles followed Jack and listened to them in the kitchen. He wanted to go in, but he was afraid at the same time. He closed his eyes and pressed his ear against the door. 'I don't want to get Alex in trouble, or hurt...Jack is there, though...should I go in...no, the ringleader will think somethings up...or it'll make him forget about it...' he thought and decided to stay down there and listen.

"Hmm, yes, it seems like Alex was getting water too..." the ringleader said to himself. Alex hoped he wouldn't question either of them any further, for fear of him finding out of the newcomers. And then they wouldn't have the option to leave anymore.
