I saw Stel's face. "Don't worry, he's only supposed to take one of each pill and that's it. It's not like every hour or something." I was afraid of an overdose too.

"Really? That's so cool! I wanted to be a surgeon, but then that would mean I would end up working with my snobby cousins. But I do sorta know those technical terms. Maybe you could teach me sometime. But still... What does this have to do with those cards?'
Stel was rushing out words to cover up her own worrisome thought. Overdose of any of those pills, together or apart, could cause death.
