Suddenly, I heard grunts and heavy footfalls from outside the cave. They echoed as the figure got deeper in the cave. I looked up, and changed my eyes to an owls. And right in front of me, was a large black bear. I screamed tried to scream, but no sound came out of me. It swiped at me with its claws; I fell to the side of the cave. I felt my cheek, and there was four deep gashes in my cheek, and it was bleeding bad. The bear continued to attack; I forgot I had morphing powers; until I was unconscious with hundreds of gashes, scrapes, and cuts all along my face, arms, and neck. When it had realized I wouldn't bother it anymore, it stopped thrashing me, and layed down, for a short, light nap, which would probably wake up, if I even whispered.
I was bleeding heavily, and couldn't regain consciousness. I had lost too much blood as it was.
