Luna sighed, and explained the wolves why they were called here. The wolves cried out in agony when she was finished. They growled amongst theirselves, and snippets of conversations were heard, "...how DARE they...what? How could this have...never in a million years has this..." The goddess held up her hand for silence. All in one second, the whispers and words stopped, and attention was focused back on her.

Stel drove back to the circus, with Kay's pajamas in her hand. She dropped them off in her cabin and went to Jack's cabin to ask him if he wanted to meet the All American Rejcts. She was afraid he would be mad at her after she screamed at him. But he had to understand that Stel wasn't being rude, she was trying to save him.

Ok. So the gods are fighting, and Luna needs energy from her children, the wolves, to defend herself. The wolves will be the same as before even after she has taken some engergy. And the wolves are there to offer everything she needs.
