bic// Dawn did not notice the pigeon headed her way, and collided with it. The pigeon hooted dolefully with a hint of fear in it's tone. Dawn screeched at it, and it flurried away. A bit irritated now, Dawn spotted the lights of the campus and abruptly dove. She saw Stel standing there and started flying towards her, hoping Stel would see her and hold out her arm so she could land.
Alex flopped down on her own bed, staring at the ceiling, bored. She didn't really want to go to Stel's party, but knew she should, just to be nice. After all, Alex never had made her own decisions when she grew up, and just followed what she was told, or what was right. She thought long and hard, thinking of a present to give her, not being there when Stel said that presents wouldn't be required.
