A poem from val <3

22nd Jul 2008 14:57 It was written a while back, but I wanted to put it up on display.
Okay, and here is it:
Fireflies & Honeybees,
Flit and Flicker through the trees.
As Springtime comes,
Every busy bee hums.
They visit my Daisy,
Bright and never lazy.
So sweet and pretty,
And always so witty.
It's truly a shame,
Roses can't hold a flame,
Next to my lovely Daisy.
She lights up the room,
So I'm never in gloom,
Never haunted by dark,
My beautiful lark.
She's always there,
When I don't have a prayer.
She stands beside me,
Teaches and guides me.
Without her, my life is lost;
I'll keep her with me,
No matter the cost.
My wonderful Daisy,
So sweet, never lazy,
If only you knew.
If only you knew,
How much I care,
How much I love you.
Remember, my Daisy,
Don't let your mem'ry go hazy.
Remember me and don't forget.
I'll love you forever,
My sweet, little treasure,
And dream of you after every sunset.
